Jerry Courvoisier

Photographer, educator, digital artist, world class Photoshop specialist and internationally recognized imaging technology consultant, has directed the Santa Fe Workshops' digital program for 14 years, building it into one of the most respected digital educational programs in the world. A popular teacher of photography, imaging applications and printmaking workshops, Jerry’s passion for photography combined with his enthusiasm for sharing knowledge is why he is the person others turn to for solid advice on digital imaging technologies.

From his base in Santa Fe, he has taught with the National Geographic Photography Expeditions series and his teaching and consulting  journeys have taken him to the UK, Italy, France, Germany, and Australia.

In addition to teaching, he works as an imaging workflow consultant for stock agencies and is a beta tester for many software and hardware manufacturers. Jerry's current projects include digital camera capture and processing, ink-jet print-media output, digital portfolio development projects, evaluating image asset management systems, and digital fine-art printmaking.

Jerry has developed the popular content rich “intensive” workshop format experience.  These short workshops in Photography, Lightroom, Photoshop and Printmaking are jam packed with strait forward information and fun. 

The “Photographic Journey” series of workshops are small group or private photography experiences (7 to 10 days) that challenge participants to move out of their comfort zone and push the envelope of creativity and vision.
